About Me

Greetings! I’m Allen Reding, a teacher and writer living about half way between downtown Houston and the beaches of Galveston.

My wife, Becky and I have been married for 43 years. We have blessed with three children, all grown and married. We are also the adoring grandparents of two of the smartest boys on this green earth.

One day I was reading and came across this quote by Malcolm Muggeridge: “Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message.”

For me, this quote encapsulates my life’s journey. I write about the insights I gather from the symbolic meanings in my own experiences, hoping that you will find my observations beneficial.
